unthings

sad to be letting go of my iconic turquoise sofa as featured in the background of all sorts of videos taken in my apartment. it is in excellent, like new condition.

super deep, spacious, medium-firm sofa that is great for napping and crashing on. honestly i would like to keep this but i don’t have a good place for it at the moment. offers welcome, and i would also consider loaning it out to a friend who has no pets and wants to possess but not purchase a sofa???

durable ski gloves, never used. they’re well-reviewed but they don’t fit my hands right (they’re snug but the palm is a bit too big and the fingers are a bit too short). i tried to break them in a bit indoors, but gave up and ran out of time to return.

comes with all accessories (namely a couple leather treatment packets and a carabiner).

worn but clean and undamaged.

two-layer winter jacket with separable inner fleece and outer shell that can be zipped together or worn individually. outer shell has a detachable hood.

i have worn this during boston winters, but then one year i decided i wanted to be able to survive while walking slowly for 12 hours playing pokémon go in subzero temperatures in a blizzard. i do not recommend this jacket for that purpose, but it is good for most other winter purposes.

hiking pants, never worn. here’s the outdoorgearlab review. this pair is the original production line (not the stretch zion ii), in charcoal color.

like the review says, it’s a spring/fall pant, probably too thicc for summer. i have a well-fitting pair in men’s 30 waist. there is no good reason for why i failed to return these.

an oversized deck box for oversized decks and oversized cards.

this is no longer manufactured. mine is out of packaging but unused. i realized shortly after buying it that more compact deck boxes existed which could also hold some dice and sleeves, and i do not play commander because i am not a filthy casual.

metal-and-glass laptop table.

i have two but i only want to have one. you have to pick this one up from me in person. $5 delivery available on friday, 8/26 only in the eastern cambridge & back bay areas.

metal-and-glass laptop table.

i used to have two. now i have one but i want to have zero. you have to pick this one up from me in person.

brand new. i love my former team and i still have all the swag, however, one time our team admin ordered some jackets, the logo was missized too large by the reseller, and we ended up with a bunch of extra jackets that i slowly gave away to new teammates except nobody took this one and it’s too big for me.

now it can be yours! the jacket is nice for spring and early fall and has a cool outside texture (i have a size S). the base product is a Stormtech Performance Tactix MDJ-1.

former and current HHVM team members can have it for free.

almost-square of marley dance flooring. literally the stuff on the floor of ballet studios, except smaller. single piece (unlike in the image).

surprisingly heavy and bulky. you have to pick this up from me in person.

lightly worn indoors.

i bought these as a costume piece bc i didn’t want to buy khakis. turns out i hate how the color of khakis look on me so that didn’t really help.

never worn. this didn’t fit me at the store. why did i buy it? i shouldn’t be allowed to enter places of commerce.

barely worn. elastic waistband, heavy fabric shorts in black and off-white.

i have pairs in medium that i wear for dance when it’s too hot for me to bother making my legs look good (i.e., by covering them up with sweats). the elastic works well so the large can fit me, but just looks too bulky. (i have a size 29 waist.)

a basket from the container store; the “large” size.

i don’t remember ordering this and so i haven’t really ever had a use for it. for a while it held a broken computer keyboard, so it’s big enough to hold a keyboard. in case that’s what you wanted to do with it.

magic: the gathering card pocket pages that can in theory hold other cards i guess.

Ultra Pro now only manufactures the cheaper one-sided toploader pages. these are much easier to use if you want to store cards in pages, which obviously i no longer do.

i have ~4 sets of 50, one of which is unopened.

never worn. for some reason i love to buy shirts that at no point were the appropriate size for my torso.

cute li’l padded binder for magic cards.

i used to keep trades in this binder, then i decided to declutter and just sell all the cards i didn’t want so now i have this empty binder.

never worn (except to try on). i got these just before i discovered my favorite underwear, then kept them because i’m dumb. purportedly these are also quite moisture-wicking.

this underwear is a lot baggier around the dick than the smartwool merino, which is very snug. if you like that, or if you have an enormous dick and balls, smash that buy button!

lightly worn. has shrunk slightly in the wash but can prolly be restored with an air dry. too small for me either way.

uniqlo no longer produces this pattern, which means this shirt is officially vintage!

inferior apple airtags.

i have two gently used tile mates for $5 (which i can transfer ownership of), and one unused one for $8.

a vintage shirt in internet culture. never worn.

this particular shirt isn’t the original print run, so it’s a Woot! brand shirt and not American Apparel—it’s not that vintage.

this 30” monitor is broken! i attempted to repair it and determined it was probably a lost cause.

however, it contains many functional parts which can in theory be resold or reused. if you come pick it up yourself you can have it for free.

well-worn; there is a scratch on one sleeve and some pilling at the lower back.

the shoulders are made of a slightly slippery material, so good if you have lots of people trying to grab u by the shoulders and you want to slightly increase the probability that they slip off and maybe die.

very lightly worn. six colors of shirts: black, white, green, wine, dark blue, and less dark blue. take them all for $20. (the wine is XS but for some reason is the same size as all the others.)

heavy fabric, loose-fit shirts. i don’t love the heft of the fabric but maybe you do! these tend to shrink in the dryer; i unshrank all the ones i dried and no longer machine dry them.

one each of sky blue and dark blue. (the dark blue matches the picture, but the sky blue is greener than the current 63 blue.)

both are lightly worn. take both for $7.

i bought these for a costume, then found a more appropriate pair at Target, then lost the receipt. never worn.

laptop stand for use with an external keyboard and/or wrists of steel.

worn once as costumes by non-me people. one each in XS and L sizes.

these bathrobes aren’t the most stylish, nor the most luxurious, nor the most absorbent. however, they are the most cheap.

full bracket-mounting set for Kryptonite U-locks. includes the metal mount that attaches to the lock (fits full-size regular and Evolution locks, not sure about minis or Fahgettaboudit).

i’m selling two of these.

black athletic cut Nike t-shirt that obliges you to support Harvard Basketball. never worn (although i did support Harvard Basketball).

i used this when i moved into my first apartment and didn’t have a conceptual understanding of drawers. later i got drawers, but my girlfriend used this because i only had so many. now, you could be that girlfriend!

well, only in an extremely limited sense. anyway i have even more drawers now so i don’t need this.

cargo pants that never fit me. (i’m a 29x32.)

black slacks that i wore for concerts and years of marching band but which never fit me. (i’m a 29x32.)

reusable cloth masks. round shape and profile. price is for a set of 3.

i tried to use these for dance but they weren’t sweat-wicking enough. i have three each of white and black, please take any and all.

v-necks, rarely worn. one in grass green and two in dark grey, as pictured.

these sueded shirts are the softest shirts i’ve ever encountered. i own a bunch as basics, i just don’t like these two colors. they’re longer than the average t-shirt, so good for tall skinny people.

obsolete cable technology. yours for an obsolete unit of currency.

white dress shirt i wore for high school concerts. way too big for me because i grew up in an authentic asian-american household.

purple dress shirt that’s too big for me.

i gave up on hanging these up to take pictures, but they’re all dress shirt shaped idk.

blue dress shirt that’s too big for me.

i really like this blue actually but,,, it doesn’t fit,,,

black dress shirt that’s too big for me.

🅱️ig 🅱️inder

i have like a dozen of these. good for storing papers, then deciding to digitize everything and delet all the papers, then trying to get rid of the binders.

NRFB mystery device. my friend jess asked me if i wanted it and i said sure, which was obivously a mistake because i would never use this what was i thinking.

for almost a decade, i have been trying to find a copy of the perfect, most luxurious santa hat that i once bought by chance at a shop in harvard square.

anyway please take away these failed attempts that i got on ebay. turns out most sellers will display a nice santa hat in their product image, but will just ship some completely arbitrary santa hat. as a santa hat connoisseur, i cannot bring myself to wear these hats.

this came free with a unicorn onesie.

this is the stand part of a music stand, but the bracket that held the stand broke, so only the telescoping tripod is left.

the tripod is fully functional if you can fabricate some sort of adapter or bracket to use on top.

spindowns from magic: the gathering prereleases. i have so many.

good for tracking things that number one through twenty. slightly less good for randomization.

54”-long shoelaces. too short for my particular hiking shoes. two pairs available, color as pictured.

they’re yours for free but you have to pay me a dollar if you don’t buy anything that isn’t free.

63”-long shoelaces. they’ve got a nice to stretch to them, but i was looking for less elastic laces. one pair available, color as pictured.

they’re yours for free but you have to pay me a dollar if you don’t buy anything that isn’t free.

unopened. i use plackers disposable plastic flossers because i hate the environment and myself probably.

i have many things and some of them i would like to un-have. (this is a sale page, please buy my things.)

if you see anything you like, fill out this google form, or just contact me the usual ways. i live near the kendall square T station in cambridge and have a bike, so i can do local meetups in much of the boston/cambridge/somerville area.

feel free to request shipping, additional photos, etc. if you’re interested in something! higher bids also welcome if you hate money or want to feel like you’re at an auction!

charger cables for pogo wearables that i’ve lost.

no idea who loses the cable instead of the slippery little device nugget, but if that’s you, boy have i got up to three things for you!

i have N of these. some of them are up for grabs.

bubble packaging, bubble wrap, bubble mailers, even little plastic baggies that are made of bubble. if you need some air pockets, i’ve got what you need!

feel free to leave a tip for your hoarder (aka me). i have way more than what’s pictured.

bought it to hold flowers but didn’t check the size. it is so small. it can maybe hold three pens, but no guarantees.
